In the Settings before you start the game you have an option to select wich sounddriver you would like to use. This doesnt work for me, even if i select a secondary sound device, it use the primary one that windows uses.

Wich meens, if i want to use my headphones in game, i have to swap sound device every time i start the game.

I have the same problem, regardless what I select in game settings it use the windows default one... and if I update the windows default sound unit in the Control Panel it switches at once in game.

Have the same issue. I like to use 'phones for WWIIOL for obvious reasons, using the built-in soundcard on my mobo, but use my GFX card's sound capabilities for everything else. Unfortunately, I can't do that without having to switch default soundcards in XP each time I want to play BE.

Yup. Tried this a few patch versions ago and couldn't find the correct balance between windows, my on-board audio and WWIIOL. Basically, I gave up and use the headphone jack on my speakers.

We really need to have the ability to specify which audio jacks we would like to use when the game is launched. For example, front audio jacks when game is launched, the reverts to rear audio jacks when the game exits. I know that the architecture for every computer is slightly different, but there should be a way to do it.

I tried with XP. Haven't tried with Win 7.
