bomb falling whistle in an infinate loop

After large battles (or wherever bombs are dropped in the distance) I often hear a whistling falling bomb noise. its very faint but when listening for tanks and such it is very irritating as it makes it incredibly difficult to hear things in the distance. Not to mention its always there until i restart the game. the mere droning of it is almost as annoying as magnetostriction and tinnitus or other high pitches noises.

I get this too sometimes, but it varies from attacks to nothing going on

in my only sortie today i had this again. it was very annoying, as i couldnt hear anything in the forest (searching for targets as ATR).

same thing I have, sigma tel is an integrated chipset. Haven't had a problem with it. What driver version are you using, and what is your sound set to in game (hw, sw, or auto)

I also can hear bombs falling from miles away... as well as smoke popping off.

I have Sigma tel chipset on board. Otherwise everything other sound is correct.

I'll run some tests over the next few days and see if I can replicate it on my machine. What driver version you guys using?
