Unable to fire as inf quite often

I often find that when playing inf I cannot fire, yes everything is fine in setup. It seems like if I'm on a long mission or run a fair bit then my binoc and fire keys don't work whatever I do. Occasionaly I can press a key (not sure which perhaps . or 0 ) and it goes to binocs and then i walk forward and then i can fire again. It seems like it thinks I have my binoc out but I don't. Anyone else get this as its p*ssing me off now as I get killed and am unable to fire half the time, so much so that I can't be bothered with layng Inf at present.

Next time this happens try the following:

Make sure you are stationary

Press 0 to set binocs again

Press fire

Press 1 to switch back to main weapon

You should then be able to fire, assuming it's the same as what happens to me.

I think it's related to lowering your weapon. I've never had it since I stopped doing that. It makes no difference to how far you can sprint, so there's no need to do it anyway.
