RTB to CP but can't EnterWorld

I spawn into a CP as rifle, I play for a while, all the supply in that CP is gone (it was a spawn from another town, ARM flag), I RTB alive (same CP), but then am unable to EnterWorld? If I'm alive, just RTBd, how come I can't spawn in again? This makes no sense.

Of course, as soon as I click up the mission level, it shows me the supply is out for that CP and I can no longer select rifle (or anything), but WHERE did my rifle go that I just RTBd????

This almost cost us a spawn cause I couldn't get back in to defend, even though I was alive and well at that CP when I RTBd

It seems the bug is even though you RTB, the system sees the CP as empty of supply, and doesn't take into account your OWN self! If you RTB, shouldn't you still have a rifle reserved to go right back in? Or, if you DID go to the missions menu, wouldn't it show supply as containing 1 rifle? (i.e. yours you just RTBd)

Are you sure the depot wasn't captured just after you despawned?

Did you get the "reserved" message while you despawned?

Was your rifleman hurt? If the inf you despawn is to much wounded you won't get it reserved and it will be lost.

Yep, was defending the spawn, so we still had it, but supply was out for that spawn. I RTBd (either for points or nades, not sure now), then couldn't get back into world. Even though I was a rifle that just RTBd to that spawn, and it was reserved.

It seems that if you RTB into a CP that has no supply left (CP is still in supply, mission and flag are still valid) you can't reenter the world. You have to wait for more supply, even though you just returned 1, (and presumably is still reserved in your name.. so should be able to spawn right back in)

Just happened again, RTBd to fully valid CP for more nades while ei was capping. Then, unable to ENTER WORLD, even though I was fine and unit was still reserved. Of course, go out to mission area and CP shows no supply left.... but what about ME? I was there? Course, lost CP. Extremely frustrating.

I can confirm that, it happens for navy too for example (guess other branches as well). We a bunch of FMBs in a town defense beginning of this map, I would get RTB message upon despawn, but once the supply was depleted, I also couldn't respawn ... waited a while in the spawn list (1min i would say max.) then 1 FMB did show up and I could grab it and spawn. Definately worth a investigation, I have no exact rule to re-produce it but RTBing to an empty spawn point is a good start.

A couple questions for you guys experiencing the "bug":

  • do you have "/autoleaderoff" set?
  • did the mission leader leave without making sure there was a replacement for him before he left?
  • was the flag for the brigade/division moved from your origin?

If the answer is yes to any of the above, your difficulties are typical. I don't know if that is how the game is SUPPOSED to work, but that is how it DOES work.

Number 1 and 3 no. I do not set the mission leader flag and the division flag was still valid.

As for 2, not sure, but, even if the ML leaves, a new one is automatically assigned, so not sure how that is a problem. (unless I'm the last person, but even so, then I would just be assigned the mission leader; don't see how ML has anything to do with supply...???)
