We've made several changes to the client in order to fix any places where the concussion effects might get played repeatedly when they shouldn't.

Please test this executable even if you don;t get the concussion bug and report on your results.

Please note in your post if you previously had the concussion bug, what exactly the effects are you were seeing and what changes this executable made for you.

Initial reports show a reduction in concussion reports from players. If you experience this regularly please post here after trying these executables.

uhm... is it just me or have someone slipped with the transparent paint brush on the BE icon in the ww2conctest.exe ? :P

Installed the new .exe and tried it in a few sorties. Encountered the bug in the first big battle I entered (Veghel) and submitted a report.

The first instance I heard the beeping/heart pounding cycle once, then several times a high-pitched near-miss sound. Then nothing for about 10 minutes (same sortie) and again once beeping cycle followed by just one high-pitched noise.

The bug seems to have changed, before it was very regular with beeping every few seconds or so, not it is irregular and disappears quickly. It almost seems as if I just get the audio of some action that is taking place but not rendered.

i've just had this for the first time since open beta.

i'm using the old file , but oldzeke asked me to post this up

i was at druten S docks in a fmb.

i was spawned in for about an hr ,just me and the dock AA AI shooting at ea.

suddenly i was being concussed,ews was clear ,, no ea were in the air ,no tracers , gunfire , or explosions but i was getting cuncussed.

a i pulled up to the docks to despawn ,the rate of concussion increased and i began hearing reloading sounds.nothing at the docks was shooting ,,in fact the AA AI was not there.the AAAI pit was up , nothing had bombed or destroyed it,

but the AA AI crew&gun was not visible.

but i was continually conncused as i sat there.i could hear the inv AA AI continualy reload new clips.

now as i sat there ,,sporadicly the AA AI gun would become visable to me inside its pit .it would appear from anywhere from a split second to a few seconds before disapearing again.

every time the gun was visible ,, the cuncussion bug would stop .

when the gun disapeared , i'd get concussed again.

oldzeke came over to put his eye on the situation

to him , the AA AI was visable and acting normally

I've been testing this exe now and I still get the concussion bug. Most of the time it's exactly as before but I've noticed a new version of the bug with this exe.

With this exe sometimes you just get the distorted shaking screen without the "red out" effect. Hm... I should have posted this earlier because now I have forgotten how the sound behaved...

Anyhow. I have also noticed that most of the time I get the concussion bug now a auto report is sent 5-10 seconds after the bug triggers.

Also i n the new auto report that you put in for concussion bug, only seems to send when you dont have concussion bug, but never sends when you do have it.

Got the bug just now at Huesden. Screenshake and beeping sound, then a 3-second break and the same again 2 times.

At the time there wasn't much going on in town (no EWS), usually I only get the bug in big battles. AI was firing, but it was also firing during the 5 other sorties I had in that town before without any bugs.

The depot I spawned in was destroyed, first thing I did was run to the depot roof where the bug started.

There was no automated report.

I'm running Windows7 Ultimate x64.

I would from time to time get the blackout bug (no explosion sounds, but screen quickly fades through red to black). Have tried downloading full client (previous install had been through a few patches, including some which had to be forced), but this didn't fix the problem.

I only get the bug when I'm driving a beddy, can be towing or not, can be at the start of driving or later. Changing my heading by 90 degrees usually makes it go away, but turning back to the original heading too soon makes it come back.

I only get the automatic report submitted when I'm inf (I'm an Allied player), never when I'm actually getting the bug.

Have downloaded the two files, will test.

I was only having blackouts with the regular .exe, but after I installed the Concussion test .exe, I actually Started getting concussion effects as an ATG sometimes. These had gone away for me in 1.31.

Dual Pentium 2.80 ghz chip

2 gig Ram

Win7 Ultimate x64

Again!!

In Panzer 3H at Zebrugge

About 1.3 k east I got the full bug and stopped and waited for it to stop. It did not. Retreated to beyond point where it began, It did not stop,

Logged from game.

Following on heels of FRU problems 15 min earlier this game is becomminmg VERY frustrating to play.

I know you are overload with 7 pages of bug reports. Must be a bunch of carzy rats scurring around. :-)

Edit: Oh yes I also get report message when I do not have the bug.

Got the concussion bug today at Gent in a M10. Just started after 40 minutes and didn't stop. Red screenshake and noise.

A squad mate and I both in churchills were approaching Zebrugge yesterday, as we got within roughly 2K we both developed the full concussion bug effect at exactly the same time, almost a completely red screen that was shaking with the irritating heartbeat sound. A 3rd squad mate also in a church did not get the bug.
