You tried opening the BE install folder and clicking the settings app itself to see if it opens?

i'm not in the habit of downloading anything from sites i don't know. i've only downloaded 2 things . 1 was r.u.s.e. and that was from steampower.com and the other thing i downloaded was wwiionline open beta from this site. and i doubt that either of these sites would have any viruses. i'm incline to believe, the thing about the regestry 1st.

No one else but you seem to have this problem, its not like CRS has conjured some evil plan to force players play with that resoloution lol.

You're the only player having this problem, of course they haven't locked the game into that resolution.

What's your default desktop resolution?

That is almost certainly a problem on your side. Reinstalling the game may help. Installing the last graphics drivers with which the game worked for you may also do the trick.

Where the hell do you even get a square monitor?

romz you['re] my damn hero

Ya know, at first Romsburg, you rubbed me the wrong way and I wasn't a fan. But over the past 12 months, you have really grown on me. You're precise, well spoken and although you are sometimes a little harsh, you are most often correct and in proper context with your responses.

If you're going to argue with Romz, do your homework before you post. He gets it, and you can't teach common sense, you have to be born with it.

I can't say [any]thing else [than] that the ban was justified considering that you have an 'impressive' TOS history....

Ya know...he may be on to something!

If the Rats are truly interested in historical accuracy . . . what resolution were video cameras capable of back in the 40's? Perhaps the game resolution should match that.

Come to think of it, according to wikipedia, color television really didn't catch on until the late 60's. This game SHOULD BE in Black & White.

Think how much better our frame rates would be!

In 1941 the maximum resolution was 525 lines so the game shouldn't use more than 656x525x8 (grayscale). ;P

Dunno what rckgunny have done to make it run at a higher res than that! ;)

yeah ok , all your comments are really funny, hahaha , my monitor defualt is 1920x1200x32 the live online game is supposed to be the same thing ,but ,its not anymore! i stop playing for a week or so i come back and my ingame live online res. i 800x800x32 . i don't know what the problem is . now since you all think this is such a joke , i'll just go to my bank and have them get my money back and i'll enter a fraud claim, then they'll as usually contact the fbi, i'll go that route
