Over Geel a little while ago I saw a He-111 drop paras...

Me thinks this is the crew bailing out, its a new feature!

allies were complaining the 11 bombs were kiling there peeps, so the rats put parachutes on the bombs to give the allies a chance to run away/

( in all seriuness, o agree prob the crew baining out :)

Now that was what I was expecting! ;)

No, I just wondered since I saw like 4 paras come out but I just realised that the animation renders for all 4 crews, not just the one player?

Yes, the whole crew. The pilot (or whoever the the commander) bails out for real, the rest of the crew are just for show. If there is a multi crew person they just despawn as normal.
