Well if you want things fixed you might want to rethink your strategy on bug reporting.

o so now its my job as a paying customer to now do their work for them???

hmmm what other industry makes you do that????

where were all the beta testers?? and why did none of them find these bugs....why did they go live after testing for a week...

Open testing continued for a good while, unfortunately people dont turn up to it. This happens in this industry especially mmos and even more so to smaller MMO companies.

If you dont believe it doesn't then I must direct you to every game that updates in huge patches like this WoW, WAR, SwG all have issues on patches even Steam updates can cripple steam.

If you're not wanting to help in betas as it's not your job then that's your choice but It's encouraged to help find bugs like your experiencing, I was here alot during beta and never crashed at all and I haven't on the live server.

hmm so they keep on doing the same things that didnt work for them in the past...isnt their a saying that goes something like this

'if you keep on doing the same things, you will always get the same results..."

it seems like less than a week of beta testing was a bit too fast...

i could care less if one or two planes or other units were unaviable, we are still able to play the game with out issue, but to have an issue that strikes after the first sortie of the day is not a good way to begin....hopefully its not a taste of things to come but we will see.

and the only way to recover is for me to just turn my pc off from the button which could be potentially harmful to my computer....

but these snakes at crs and their lawyers have crafted a wonderful tos that probaly includes statments like "if our software for what ever reason caused your hardware or computer any damage we are not responsible"

and

even tho you are a paying customer you are not entitled to any of our services (so when a bug prevents a user from playing what they payed for they can say we arent responsible)

basically these tos for any software essentially read like this even tho you paid for this software you have no recourse if it fails to work, and if any damages occur as result of said software it is not our fault....

the whole industry is like this...and its BS

It was over a week but that point isn't really a valid one, if noone is showing up and reporting issues then why would they keep it in beta for no reason that wouldn't be wise.

We could debate that every other company does everything perfectly in their patches and nothing ever goes wrong but this is how it is. If something is to be fixed then it has to be reported on accurately rather that a WTH thread.

as a paying customer i am entitled to certain things regardless of what the tos says....the tos is just some lawyer speak that is too unclear and too confusing....

you see when i offer someone a service that they paid for i made dam well sure that they get what they paid for, other wise i could face civil and in rare cases criminal charges...

My IQ lowers every time I read a joeyblow post.

Did you participate in beta since you wanna call them out?

According to TOS you're entitled to nothing ;) accounts can be frozen or stopped without warning or without reason.

As a paying customer the Rats will surely help and fix any bugs they can but you have be able to explain it better than "WTH they took oouuuur JERRRRBS."

fighting with each other is not the purpose of the BUG REPORTING AND TESTING FORUM (this one) we use this to help us to keep the game evolvinmg as rapidly and with as many fixes in a given time frame as we are able to make

as such, this thread doesn't help that to happen and will be closed

PS: if we were to have what WE at CRS want ... it would be a bug free no down time nothing ever goes wrong experience for you the customer. Due to a variety of reality based reasons that we cannot completely control; that isn't what we get, even though we want it an awful lot and work as hard as humanly possible to get it.

PPS: the team that built Super Mario Brothers was bigger than ours, and their game was 1000 times less complex to maintain; let alone update. We're doing everything in our power but we don't have as much power as you think we do or we'd like to have.
