Maybe repost the info from your support thread here Whiplash, so that the Rats can see what you are dealing with.

Schloss is suffering from this issue as well - but there aren't many other triplehead users to ask.

Whip did report that he has changed nothing on his system. Other programs are working the same for him as they did prior to this bug.

Maybe move your other thread here whip? Or at least link to it so others can see. Just a suggestion. S!

Thinking about getting two more 40" monitors with Triple Head to Go, as well as TrackerIR5. Does anyone use this combination, if so any problems?

No problems. The issues come from the triplehead2go setup itself. Take time to visit the widescreen gaming forums and look at the "definitive fix" thread. The highest resolution supported by triplehead2go is 5040 x 1050 or 3x 1680x1050 - usually found in 22 inch monitors or some 19's.

A 40 inch monitor (NOT TV) might have a much higher optimal resolution. For now, the other two multi monitor solutions (nvidia surround and amd's eyefinity) will support multiple 1080P resolutions (combinations of 1920 x 1080 or whatever it is). Eyefinity will do six and surround will do three.

One issue you are likely to run into shmonkey is if your monitor's native resolution is higher than that, you will have to run at a lower res - and on flat screen monitors many people do not like the look of anything running in a less than optimal config as unlike with CRT's, lcd's do not look very good running in standard resolutions.

Hope that helps a bit. PM me if I can be of further assistance.

If you don't yet have a triplehead2go pm me. I have one I'll let you have for less than what you'd pay. The only reason I'm not using mine is because I have the 3d thing happening with the Nvidia stuff. Not that it works with this game, but that's something I could rant about for ages. And no, it's not the Rat's fault at all.

But the offers there if you want it.

The 40" samsung 1080p 60hz LCD I currently have is running at 1808X1004X32 and it looks petty good.

Lol! That is one seriously unusual resolution!

Doesn't seem to hurt you in the least either. :)

S!

Love your home CP by the way.

THX, I was going for that 1940's look. And I have an all original 1940 Buick to go with the room.

Back to the monitor, I had to customize my dimensions to max the res.

That's pretty close in aspect to the 3600x1920 that I'm trying to run with 3 24" monitors with eyefinity without luck. Can't get the game to run, when I start it just flickers the screen and dies without a message. You said your problem was with the setup, not the game? I can run other games fine at that res.

I dunno man. I'm flawless here. I haven't updated the Matrox stuff in a while. What version are you running?

Also for people looking into this I can confirm the EyeFinity works well in landscape mode but there is a report that if you try and go portrait on them it looks weird.
