since 1.31 and also in 1.32 i get often killed through the hill covers. i can see the traces going through the trees and hills.

Not only hills, seems to be any sharp angles. Due to the eye height abnormality, one can shoot without being seen. Most pronounced in new IFPs, on berms and rooftops.

There's a couple things probably going on here. First let's clear up that we've never been able to replicate getting shot through a berm but if you have a test set up we'd love to retry. Second is that tracers in third person don't perfectly show where the rounds are going, only an approximation.

What's likely happening is that there is a discrepancy between first and third person of where the infantry is. Sometimes you think you are peeking over the berm but in third person you've terraininzed in a different way. There is a discrepancy between where the eyepoint is and where the head is in third person. Some time spent with clones offline can demonstrate this and is likely worth some training time for players who are skilled enough to notice these subtleties.
