I have no trees!!

Whilst I have found this to be a great benifit when in a tank: looking for tanks. I regulay end up shooting invisible trees giving my position away & our more freequently when piloting a plane, constantly flying into invisible trees, which makes me look a right p**t!

I have reinstalled the game & my drivers are current. Please advise what I may be able to do to sort this. been playing for many years, love the game but its geting a bit of a drag now!.

Posibly a bug?

:D

Doesn't sound like much benefit to me!

Still, I need to know your sys specs so that I can reproduce it. Naturally, I don't have the problem or it would be fixed. So then, can you give me a video card and driver number that I can build to have a look?

Also, is it always or only sometimes? Can you provide any other information?

Thanks Gm. I talked to my AMD rep and he's suggesting to make sure you have the latest drivers from them, not Sony. Can you check that?

I get this issue, with no bushes and trees on berms, its rare, but it does happen.

Using a nvidia 9800 GT, with latest drivers, when this bug appears, its usually a sign that the game is going to crash or something, my fps gets low, stutters start appearing shortly afterwards, some kind of mem leak possibly related? Restarting ww2 fixes the problem for me, at least for a good while.

Dont forget if using a laptop you have to get drivers from the laptop maker NOT the vid card maker.

Not true at all.

First of all, many laptop makers are extremely bad at releasing updates to graphics drivers.

Second, at least when it comes to AMD/ATI, you can download mobility drivers from AMD's support site that will work with most laptops.

Third. If it doesn't you can always try to download the full catalyst set, run the installation and abort after it has unpacked. Then run this wonderful tool, Mobility Modder and it will make the needed adjustments to the driver. After that you can continue the installation from the folder where it was unpacked.

This used to be true. AMD and nVidia only recently started offering official support for mobile drivers.

This should be fixed in beta.
