At every spawn the first time I try to change from standing to any other position it doesn't have any transition and happens instantaneously.

That was driving me nuts last night - I thought I was seeing things, since it only occurs once after spawning, everytime I'd just write it off to beer lag lol.

Happened to me too, very surprising. Only the first time - like you were hit with a rock from behind.

Actually, is same if you go prone too. You just drop instantly*
