I have not seen this before.

Only happens from this angle (with respect to the sun). If I turn even a little left or right, sun goes back to normal.

got similar on a nvidia 8800gt system. it's not all the time green, just at some viewing angles when the sun is low above the horizon.

This happens to me occasionally, the graphics state gets out of sync and leaves a green (or sometimes red) tint to everything. I don't think its video card specific but more likely a random circumstance where the state is not saved/restored correctly. Usually it self corrects some time later.

oh and NV 8800GTS, drivers 6.14.11.9038 a little older ones from 09. cpu Intel C2 6850 + 4gb. winxp with latest service pack.
