yeah it is rather annoying ....it was not like this until after the "fix" patch then all of the sudden its a problem and sure makes it hard on a ML trying to keep people focused

Also . . .

Is it a bug that friendly FRUs do not show up on the map the way friendly msps did?

Shouldn't each team know where its own FRUs are?

Cheers,

Joe

Something is up and having a town contested might be the difference, I have had frus go down and not be able to replace them as ML when town was contested. I have been able to give ML to another player who is able to set one up.

There is another little interesting FRU issue, sometimes the FRU is allowed to be placed at any distance from your target. Was able once to place one under 100m from a axis depot, the fru icon showed green so I built one after becoming ML when our FRU was taken down. Also had an Axis FRU placed in the "atg" complex at our FB while defending it at night. That one was about 100' from our VEH spawn.

It's in the ReadMe, the FRU wont show up on the map since its not a server tracked object (I think that is what it is called).

None of the PPO object can be seen on the map.

Can't place FRUs to towns that are contested. I assume this isn't by design?

I was able to replicate this and ticket it but it only worked for me if the town had no AO on it.

It also went away if I changed Mission leader.

I'm playing with this today trying to figure out all of the weird ones.
