Rethel - Naval brigade 4th Zerst Monday about 1630 US central time

Obtained ML because all others despawned and did .takelead.

Ran 2 k north of town to set up defensive FRU.

FRU was green to go. Tried about 5 times. Every time I got message that FRU was deployed. Then instantly it dissapers and I get no longer available message.

Finally died to sherman while typing ***** in chat.

Same problem here. The mission was active and people were spawning but couldn't open fru as it would shut down as soon as soon as the build meter completed.

I've got this, where the FRU completely builds and shows on map, but seconds later disappears and says "MSP gone" or something like that.

I have heard that 'you' (or the system) are bugged when that happens. I log out of game and come back in and it is goes away and I can then build FRU properly. Has happened a couple of times to me, can be pretty frustrating when you need a MSP and you are unable to create one after all that driving.

I want a vehicle FRU so I can spawn in my tank... and if CRS wants to make this even more unrealistic lets have FRUs in the clouds so I can spawn in my plane anywhere I like as well. Hell for that matter fark the depots, ABs, FBs, and airfields all together. Lets just cut to the chase; we all know where this is heading. The future game 1.35 in a nutshell, I’ll spell it out for you… place your mouse pointer anywhere on the map, click and you’re in.

Amen.

I have the same feeling. I was against mobile spawns when they arrived, how can I then agree with these things? The game is losing it's soul, the thing that made it different from all other war games.

same thing for me today at BoZ.

Pls correct it soon, frustrating to drive 20 minutes and then get this ....

for munchkin and shmonkey. I like FRU. Lots of people like it. You know, in the game also INF pays and wanna play, not only tankers and pilots.

Live with that, there's a lot of game and combat behind it. And fun.

You can also build and finally get the MS deployed message if you try to build a MS/FRU where you are not allowed to.

Like if you set a mission one town too far away.

Like for instance your side has don't have an brigade in a town your side control, but in the next town. You see the enemy has a FB up to the town that is now ready to be soft-cap.

You post a mission in the town with the brigade, takes a truck and drive to the next town and heading down to the enemy FB. You get Green ghost FRU and you start deploying. You get message that you deployed a MS. A second or two later will you get a message that the MS was removed. You never saw any MS/FRU in the game world.

Reason: The MS rules didn't allow you to deploy the MS/FRU here.

I suggest that when we try to deploy a MS where we can't should we get a message telling us this.

I don't say that this is what happend to vonKurt since he said it was a defensive MS. That should not have been any problem, hence it sounds like a bug to me (even though I don't have all facts here).

Do you realize that you can actually spawn in in those 1-2 seconds? Anywhere on the map. Just takes 2 people on mission to do it.

I don't think you can since there never is a visible MS in the game world. Hence there is no MS to spawn from.

I think it just take a second or two for the system to react to give the message that there is no MS. But I am not sure of course. Damn hard to test since you need to be faster then 1 second to hit the spawn button. :D

Is the disappearing FRU still an issue? Sounds like a server went south.

It seems this hasn't occured the last couples of weeks. As you said Gophur, it was probably a server hick-up.
