PPO's disappearing while you are in them

My understanding of the gun position PPO was that as long as it was manned, it remained. Twice tonight I was in a fun house when it went bye bye around me.

Any one else having this issue, or do I not understand how they work?

I have not encountered this issue, i think there was a spate of issues, when the server was playing up, frus disappearing etc...But to my knowledge it was a server issue that was sorted.
