Is it just me or is there no Red AWS anymore?

In the last campaign even though there where EA swarming all over a town the AWS only shown Yellow al the time.

Just you, saw it a couple occasions last map. 25+ enemy air AFAIK.

changes in 1.31, also now delayed 5 minutes.

Several players expressed that the AWS was a bit too infringing so we toned it down a bit. These changes add a bit more hunt and peck to the air game.

Your feedback on the changes is welcome.

20-25 is a bit high though mate?

Anything over 10 EA I would consider high numbers in the air.

I cannot remember it being red on the map anytime I was on so it must not get to 20 very often.

The toning down of AWS is one of the best things that have happened to the air game in my 2+ years here. If it was gone completely and RDP bombing would be solved somehow, it would be epic.

If we drop RDP out of the equation, AWS serves no role. It might seem to make air combat "happen", but that is not so. The fighters know where to find the enemy, and they don't want to be shown on the enemy's map. The bombers without AWS have the chance to go to a P2/P3 target and not immediately get bounced by enemy fighters. Everyone wins.
