FMB Damage Model & DD Kill Credit anomalies?

At the end of last campaign and during this one I've noticed that the damage models and kill credits for ships is much different from how I remember them. FMBs seem like they're much more resistant to damage than they used to be. It used to be that a couple hits with the 37mm guns to a FMB had it flaming, but now I'm seeing it take dozens of rounds to make this happen. I remember chasing an FMB two days ago and hitting it with the 5in shells, visible hits, and spamming it with 37mm and it not doing anything noticeable with an angle on the bow of 180'. I thought I must have just mis-ID'd and that it was actually friendly or something, but as I started to pull ahead I clearly saw a British flag and tried again with the 37mm guns and finally flamed him. It seems you really have to specifically target the center of the boat to get it to flame, whereas before you pretty much just had to hit anywhere along the hull. DDs, though, seem about the same in terms of where you hit it and the damage you expect to inflict.

As for kill credits, this is a DD issue and not an FMB issue as far as I can tell. What I've noticed is that there seems to be a higher threshold for what counts as a critical amount of damage, and thus an awarded kill. Severe damage like a killed engine or flames still do the trick, but just having a compartment or two take on water doesn't do it anymore. It's actually kind of nice because it means you no longer lose the DD for relatively minor amounts of damage and this is something we've actually wanted for a while. I bring it up because I didn't see anything in the patch notes about it and I hadn't heard of any change to DD kill credits in this regard. If it's intentional, great! Case closed. If it's a bug, overlook it! I think us DD captains can all agree it's about as beneficial as a bug can get because it will cut down on suicide charges as folks know they have a chance to RTB instead of losing their ship to a leaky faucet :) Good to know either way, though.

Anyone else noticing the same thing? These could just be my own misinterpretations of what's going on, but things have been consistently and noticeable different to me in these regards since the last patch I'd say.

I don't recall us changing anything recently. The Fairmile crews did become invulnerable in 1.28 but that was many moons ago.

Just the "driver" is invulnerable on the fmb. All other positions die.
