Num shots to destroy FRU?

Yesterday I had to put 3 SMG (french) clips into a FRU to destroy it, and yes I was very close to it. Does that seem right? I thought only 3 shots took one down? Or is it 3 rifle shots and 3 SMG clips?

I believe there is a damage threshold that needs to be reached, the number of times you need to hit them will vary depending on the weapon.

Considering the french smg fires soggy peas, i would say 3 clips isn't much at all

I have put them down with about 5 or 6 shots from a rifle from about 150 to 200 meters.

I have heard reports of wild variances in what it takes to put one down.

I wonder if there is a sweet spot, like the flag or the radio, or if it is all the same.

It takes an amount of joules equal to roughly 3 point blank rifle shots. There is also a very small damage threshold so flying debris and knife hits don't kill it...

Takes about 20 rounds point blank from an FR SMG.

We have one difference between MS and FRU, design only. Minimal threshold are same, total same.
