Yes I think you've talked about this.

But.

Asus g737h i7-720QM

ati mobility radeon HD 5870

game ran fine except a few ctds. updated the catalisty program with complete package (drivers and all). Now getting grey screen with vertical green stripes after 5 minutes of play even with low settings.

10.10 is version

Never heard of it. Might try the 10.11 drivers. I'm not seeing this on my 5870 but a m5870 is completely different down to the silicone.
