So I'm patrolling in ATH right now. And I locate an eFRU just NORTH of the bridge, SOUTH of the buildings along the S wall of the N AB.

We have the ENG CP in ATH, all the NORTH CP's.

Yet, the opposing force can build an FRU within 100m of our AB?

This game is BEYOND broke now. C

RATS you have absolutely outdone yourselves between the FRU debacle and the new death icons.

Hey you guys wanna come coach the DETROIT LIONS? (that's a hint lads)

Iirc if you set your target as a CP, you can build your FRU anywhere.. as long as it is not minimum distance to the CP you target.

Ah, so it's not 300m from ANY enemy owned CP, it's 300m from the target CP?

That would explain it if it works that way, going to have to try it. I thought you could not build one if any enemy CP was with in 300m.

pics or it didnt happen

You guys also had an EFRU just outside the EAB wall in Val last night, but that's before your TZ.

if you make an attack mission toward an enemy FB you can deploy your FRU 10meters beside the spwns if you want.

That's what I thought as well but didn't think HC should be involved in such things.

It just happened AGAIN in ATH at the N AB. Though I have the players name who built it. This time on the SE corner of the AB, just SE of the bldgs outside the SE edge of the AB. Near the E edge of the bridge.

I think CRS should implement a rule when a player is caught exploiting this BUG (one of 2,000,000 in this game), then a GM penalizes that side by dropping the AO.

This is absolute BS. I can't believe I let my squad talk me into paying for this garbage.

then allies would loose almost every AO .. lol

This has nothing to do with sides but of course we'd expect to see that side bias from some players. If the opposing side does it, it needs to be fixed right away. If it's your side then it must be ok. This side bias is the most annoying part of the game, even more so than the FRU's and its problems.

A valid point has been brought up in regard to the limits the FRU can be deployed, but some people can't leave the Axis vs. Allied war in game.

Report it of course.

Might be an Fb to Fb fru that is within range. Hopefully 1.32 fixes these.

Probably so. Can anyone test this on the beta? If not bump this and I'll do it next time I'm on.

Eh... but still, not supposed to be able to set up within 400m of an enemy facility.

Was the facility owned by the enemy when it was placed I wonder?

Came looking for this as have seen it many times past few days and wanted to find out how to do it.

Valenciennes WAB - saw 3 EFRUs within 200m of ab bunker, the last one from which the final infantry rush came was within 20m of the ab wall at the SE corner. WAB had been holding a long time before this and had not been recaptured.

Cambrai - first AO of the map, at the spawnable Caudry I think, first FRU I found and killed was exactly 100m from our CP.

Later, I think at Cambrai as well, a FRU first 200m from Nab and then another slightly closer.

Ive been marking them on the map even when I kill them and asking ppl how is it done and no one will tell me, so presumably its a bug? or can we do this too?

It might be this but some appear to be before the town is contested so hence the fb to fb or other "way" of doing it. I still don't know exactly how it is done ie how the mission is created but have been shown how to spawn from a fru that is open for 2 seconds so there are definitely loop holes out there.

You can use a Mission leader from an air brigade 50km away, glide him in to an FB, set a FRU and as long as you have sappers waiting they can spawn in straight away before the FRU seems to realise it shouldn't deploy and closes itself.

Keep this thread bumped.

There's many bugs with FRU's yet.

  • German Air

  • Create mission from bertrix NAB origin

  • Target is Sedan Area attack

  • Spawn ML as rifleman

  • Cannot place FRU near Bertrix > Too far from Target

  • Can fake build one (build bar but it disappeaars, known issue)

What am I trying to replicate here?
