friendly para with no name and not visible

Today I noticed this issue again and this time filed an in-game report:

East of Cambrai in the forest was a friendly icon labeled "airborne"

I opened the map and right-clicked so I could ask if he needed a ride but his name was a single blank. There was no name or para weapon type info available.

I drove to the exact location and looked around, drove around but no joy on the "body." I even waited just to be sure he wasn't on an open chute drifting down.

I do not recall the location of the previously noted area but I did have the same general description of "airborne", no name or weapons type and no vis.

nothing to worry about, that's just the behaviour when you bail out of a plane. depending on numbers of seats your plane and crewmembers allive, there will be as much airborne riflemen on map once you bail out.

No, he exists ... I met him to while walking out to an FB (about a week ago).

He is Airborne ... I could have sworn it said Airborne rifle ... And no player name ... I too went to offer him a cup of tea, but I could not find a body ... If I had found him, he could have come and helped blow the damn FB!

One or two "airborne riflemen" icons shown on map that remain there for some period of time.

heh, if it is indeed a bail-out then no problem... but how long does it take to timeout?

Noticed this the other day when attacking in Laon. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not but there was a Camo PZ4 there shooting at me from the same location. It was in the forest W of town.

I remember last patch there was a thing with MSP's being shown as airborne inf. I got reported and dragged for a chat about it after it had happened twice to me when setting a MSP. Perhaps its happening again?
