Website Issue

I work in a fairly well protected company, and one of our tools reported a "Mozilla/Firefox Image Dragging Exploit" attempt from playnet.com as I hit the website this morning. It hasn't popped up again when I came back a few minutes later, but I thought I might just pass it along in case the website has an issue with some spyware.

Which version of FireFox are you using?

The only drag-and-drop issue I can find is from 2005 and FireFox V1.01 fixed it.

I don't think there is an issue with the BGE website itself

I was using IE ;) the intrustion detection unit reported that the website itself was sending bad mojo that was trying to exploit a firefox vulnerability. Very egghead type of stuff (I was summoned to find out why I was at a website that was sending that kind of stuff). It didn't reoccur when I went back a bit later, so maybe it was a false positive, but hey, better safe than sorry.

IE: Security Tools need better warnings/error-messages (like FRUs!) ;)

It's a bit odd that the warning kicked off on

playnet.com

... I assume you were viewing

battlegroundeurope.com

, longbow?

I know of no obvious link between the two (in terms of shared files/images), but to be honest I have not looked that hard.

I'll leave this topic alone if Killer is looking at it ...
