Panhard lit up wheels.

I've noticed this one for a long time but just assumed it had been mentioned before...

When flying (possibly on the ground too but not totally certain) if you are doing CAS runs you can spot a panhard easily because from far away the wheels of the pan light up and make them stick out. I figure it happens around 1000m out.

try to find a 232 you will spot him easy too... and you can hear him easily

I also saw this on the night of 1/15/11. I saw at least 3 different pans that had this affect. You could only see it from a distance. Once they got close the affect was gone.

No, pan wheels not on fire... it is a level of detail issue.

The panny wheels are white when viewed from certain distances. This has been an issue for some time as I reported it once well before 1.31 came out.

You can always tell a panny in the distance, the wheels look like 2 little white moons driving around. Getting some screenies shouldn't be a problem... if we could get back in the game.

I'll remember to take some screenies next time I see the bug which is often and must be lod related as I have never seen a pan with it close

I also happens to laffies. I dont know if its angle related also but I notice it more when close to 90 degrees angle

On the Pan and laffies but range seems for me with 5040 x 1080 resolution to be at 1.5 K.

Since I play axis I do not know if any axis have the same problem since I dont look at them if they are in hearing range

But basically it just like white sided wheels like some old 50ties car

Well the tires are only white when it moves and if hidden behind a bush its still hidden

This is not the the on fire issue
