New bug since mini-patch to remove Xmas trees.

Can't play... just keep falling thru the ground.

Rebooted... still happens.

Tried various spawn points... still happens.

I can't play!

Happened everywhere for me - think I only tried as inf - 5 times, 4 different locations.

Tried different missions, spawn points, depots... most happened withing 10 seconds of spawning in.

Did a .report. Think it was Marche and Verdun where I was trying.

Restarting the game did not help.

RESTARTING MY COMPUTER SOLVED THE ISSUE.

I have the same problem, but a reboot doesn't work. FYI: because of some weird bug my laptop (running the latest XP, virus software updated, etc etc) isn't actually capable of rebooting or shutting down, it just freezes so I have to do a hard reset, actually holding the power button down until its off.

Anybody have ideas?

Thinking it might be a compiler issue. looks like the fall collider isn;t engaging on INF at spawn but the cage is interacting with the terrain.

Naturally I can't get the bug but I'm spawning around trying to see.

Basic sys specs from all getting this please.

CPU: Core i3 540

RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333

GPU: ATi 5850

CPU = Intel Core 2 Duo 3.2 Ghz

VIdeo = Ati Mobility Radeon HD 4330 (512 mb)

RAM = 3 GB (don't know which speed)

Also, in Basic Training I fall through the ground pretty quickly, but when I ust spawned in the "real world" I spawned in a house and was able to crouch/prone around the house before falling through the floors (and a pause of a few seconds between each floor as well) before getting to the ground and then getting killed again >.>

Still falling. Rebooted twice. Maybe it's just my latop. Anyway: "You have died. As a result you failed this tutorial. Despawn and try again".

We think this was a compiler issue. Not sure. It only happened on one machine in house but we seem to have fixed that.

I'll put up a test fix here in a few moments and if that works out we'll go live in the morning with it.
