Is it broke or does nobody want to attack anymore?

I'm seeing it on my chat client, is it not showing up in game?

Nobody wants to attack anymore. Not enough people on server to dry the infinite rotating JWBS supplies with TOEs. Check my thread in Barracks matteur!

It's not that I'm not seeing it, but it is kind of puzzling. I was under the impression that if you saw that message that meant that your side was outnumbered at that town. Yet I've seen a lot of intel messages requesting people on attacks, even if our side has overpop. My first thought was that people just aren't attacking and instead are defending. I've seen a few allied attacks that don't seem to have much punch to them too during their overpop.

But today we were pushing 50 second spawn delay during a 3 AO limit, and I saw an Intel message requesting boots at 2 of our 3 AOs, while our 3rd AO wasn't really going anywhere either ( so no massive numbers advantage there) Now my gut feeling is still that people just aren't attacking (which is an issue) but its happened enough over the past few days that it could be a bug.

I always thought it meant there was a lot of deaths there.

Much as Romzy's posting style can give me headaches (and the fact that he's "NEVAR WRONG!!"), that post pretty much nails it on the head.

sgtchief:

romz you['re] my damn hero

sydney:

Ya know, at first Romsburg, you rubbed me the wrong way and I wasn't a fan. But over the past 12 months, you have really grown on me. You're precise, well spoken and although you are sometimes a little harsh, you are most often correct and in proper context with your responses.

irelandeb:

indeed he's one of the few voices of common sense on these forums

jw:

If you're going to argue with Romz, do your homework before you post. He gets it, and you can't teach common sense, you have to be born with it.

pete, linc & julie:

I can't say [any]thing else [than] that the ban was justified considering that you have an 'impressive' TOS history....

owilde:

The only thing worse than being talked about is *not* being talked about.

I hate that message. All it does is generate frustration and annoy ppl.

It's not a bad thing for HC, not all HC can tell or "feel" how an attack is going and how many people you have there. That does you the favor of telling you if you are outnumbered there.

Like I would like to know is the maths used to trigger that INTEL message.

I hate that message. All it does is generate frustration and annoy ppl.

Last ASA SN on sunday, it gave me good informations on how my P4 on Orval with that constant INTEL spam for 30 minutes was carrying a lot of allied soldiers in there so we could have get Rochefort easier and faster.

That message always appears just after it's announced in HC chat that the attack will be pulled, just to make sure newbs will spawn in and die there I guess.

The message is worthless imo.

Only usefull for HC, confusing for players.

Also i think its from EWS, so infantry >500m away doesn't get counted.

Thus making an attack where the attacker is far out always underpopped.

Still works.

Make sure you have Alerts enabled under your chat preferences under HUD ALERTS.
