1st sortie: 1 plink - hit in head

2nd sortie: 1 plink - engine out

3rd sortie: 1 plink - instant explode

4th sortie: 1 plink - engine out

5th sortie: 1 plink - hit in legs ... cant steer anymore

Bronco you died five times in a row because you suck.

Let's review each of these kills:

I was flying a P-38 and my squadmate called over teamspeak that there was a Fw-190 hovering over our airfield. I came back toward Etain and saw a FW-190 diving in toward my squadmate (Irongrid). I told Irongrid to break as you dove in, and he did. Instead of you trying to extend out and regain your altitude, you decided to do a hard turn to the right (east). I am guessing you thought your small 1,500m dive would give you enough E to turn sharply and outrun my P-38. I dove in from 3,000m and I smashed your Fw-190 with a quick burst.

#2

I was flying over Metz with my squadmates and saw a bunch of contacts lifting out of Metz. Because there were so many friendlies over Metz the AI was being shot all over the place. As soon as the AI shifted its focus away from me, I dove in toward you and killed you.

#3

The same situation as before, but after I dove in you decided to start spamming your F9 key and you evaded me first two attempts. The last time I got annoyed and shot from really far out and exploded you.

#4

I was flying a Bell and was annoyed that the Luftwaffe was just sitting on the airfield. I dropped my 200kg bomb on a Fw-190 at the airfield. Right below me I saw a single Fw-190 that was trying to circle climb over the airfield. I dove in on the airfield and took a pass at you. I got some light hits and you kept turning over the airfield. I kept doing passes and eventually I hit your pilot and you hit a tree at the airfield and exploded.

Now let's see how each time you got killed:

3/4 of those deaths happened because you decided to fly over an airfield where three hungry P-38s were at. There was no hope for you. As soon as you hit 'enter world' you decided to kill yourself. If you wanted to fly over Jarny you should have lifted from Wiltz instead of padding our stats.

1/4 of those kills happened because you decided to fly a Fw-190 like a Spitfire. You dove in with a little bit of altitude and you turned hard and tried to escape a plane that had more smack.

Its not the planes fault.

To add to Enigma's excellent summary.

I'll add this little bit of fairly common knowledge that seems to have escaped you.

The number of plinks you hear from large volumes of automatic fire often bears little to no resemblance to how many actually hit you.

Often you hear a single plink when you took twenty or thirty...

Example.

P38 lands a half second burst, .50's only. Is about 26 rounds landing in half a second. The game cannot play 26 'plink' sounds in that half second... it takes half a second to play one or two. So you only hear one or two

I know that this will probably not penetrate the thick layer of ignorance you surround yourself with... but maybe it will help to educate other players and prevent them from following the Path of Fail like you.

do i have to gain alt ?? no ... i can circle close to AF ... and evade when you guys try to bounce me. worked alot of times too. and plenty of you guys got pwned by AI AAA ... so do i have to be the killer ??? no

doesnt matter if i kill you ... or the AI. its only important for a stat whore like you

*giggle*

Obviously you didn't read my post. Otherwise you would understand why you only hear a single plink.

Please. Engage brain cells. [whatever ones you have left]

Ask yourself... "how many 'plink' sounds can my computer play per second?"

Then ask yourself... "I wonder what I hear when I get hit by more rounds per second than the computer can play?"

So you get hit by 10, 20, 100 rounds in less than a second... you hear one 'plink'... but take the damage of all of them.

Understand yet?

Your record so far isn't great on the ground. I'm 2 for 1 in French, and down 1 as Brit.

Your 'pwn' lacks substance.

Bronco, let me be the judge of what was one plink and what wasn't. I was the one shooting you.

All of my shots, besides the Bell kill, were sustained and long bursts.
