Able to Concussion Yourself with Sapper

Probably not as repeatable as what I had buttt...

Spawn in a sapper. Run til you cant fast run anymore. (Best against FB Infantry Tents, make sure you dont blow yourself up) Plant a charge, then hold shift. Run to one of the other side tents and repeat. Keep placing charges, one per outer tent, til you run out, then run away, making sure you keep shift held. Your stamina may decrease all the way to none, and you concuss yourself and it comes back.

Not sure if this is an intended feature, being able to run after planting a satchel charge, but its odd.

I also have a thought on the Ghost Airborne Rifleman, but I need to get some more actual proof before I can do anything.

Not what I ment (Sorry I vanished for so long). If you place a charge, run like heck away, if your stamina is low enough, you can drop it to zero, WITHOUT being hurt by grenades/sapper charges etc.

The charges themselves are not affecting your stamina, but placing them and then running afterwards is. Nothing in relation to the explosion of them or grenades.

I can't seem to replicate this.

Are you starting to sprint after your stamina is below 50%?

Test 1

  • spawn sapper
  • stamina at 100
  • place satchel
  • turn and run before new satchel is drawn
  • sprint stops at 50% stamina
  • CORRECT
  • stamina still at 50%
  • place satchel
  • start running
  • stamina gained a little but stops sprint at 50%
  • CORRECT
  • didn't get far here and satchel explosion caused concussive damage dropping stamina to 40%
  • unable to sprint
  • CORRECT

It went -plant charge at 50%, run, plant next, run, plant next, run, plant charge and continue running, no recovering. Ill make a video if it would help. Your hands have to be empty when running, like your waiting for another charge to appear in-hands.

During that "waiting for a charge phase" there's a third type of run, faster then normal running but slower then sprinting.

Since for some odd reason I cannot edit my post...

Start running below 50%, yes. Plant a charge, then run. You should see your stamina start getting way below where it should stop letting you run. Yet you can still run, and eventually drain the bar completely.
