Tank turrets pointing wrong way in 3rd person

Hi There

I have reported in earlier thread that the M10 tailgunner is seen in wrong position from 3rd if you spawn in after it has been deployed.

Now the same bug seems to be universal on all turrets. That means if you spawn in and look at a tank the turret is pointing in default direction aka forward. As soon as the turret is moved just a tad it will autorotate to the correct position with normal turret rotation speed.

I have only tested the Sherman but suspect all tanks in game has this bug.

Steps to replicate:

Spawn at Camp Gretchen and Camp Yvette at N AB for fast verification

Use 2 accounts

On 1st account:

1. Spawn sherman on training server, drive it out of veh.

2. Rotate turret 180 Degrees so it point backwards

3. Leave gunner posisition

4. Unpop commander and notice direction of turret

You are now ready to spawn second account

On 2nd account

1. Spawn whatever unit in my case 232

2. Look at Sherman notice turret is pointing forward

So what does this mean basically if you spawn into a camped spot you may think the turret is not pointing at you because its facing forward.

In reality until the turret has moveed while you are spawned in it can be pointing in any direction.

When I get time I will test in on any vehicle.

I clearly suspect that this bug got introduced with the Boffors always pointing into air when spawned.

I did futher testing all tanks has this bug. It does not matter if you are axis kit looking at allied kit

The turret will not be displayed correctly if you fire the gun but DOES no move the turret.

Visible tracers looks like they come out the gun but in reality you can have invisible rounds coming straight at you.

1st person player does not notice anything wrong and other players just wonder how the turret got rotated that fast.

This is an example of the tailgunner being deployed and not moved before you spawned in.

But the damage model is still wonky as it starts from the head and up.

Once you are aware off it. ITs to the M10's disadvantage because he can try to duck but the damage model is still up there to shoot. About ½ a meter to high.

If you undeploy tailgunner he is safe

Only reliable way to kill him if you see it pointing upwards at 45 degrees and can see gunners head hes deployed and you fire in line with the pintle mount
