No hits registering on some vehicles hit

I had a problem a few weeks ago where I was sapping a Pz3f but it just wouldn't die. Despite sapping the "sweet spot" and the tracks/engine there was apparently no damage - he was able to drive off after id put 4 on him. However the real problem:

On my mission results no hits were registered at all.

The other day the problem was replicated with me in a char against a 232 - I hit it from close range with both hull and turret AP rounds and no hits registered at all - he was able to continue to fire his wpns at me (so it's not like I was out of sync/not rendering/ghosting) with apparently no damage at all.

Any ideas?

Ping was OK I think. No netcode fail messages, lagging chat or other weird sky walking/moonwalking units that often characterises high ping.

I have been testing hits and impacts and even satchel charges and I can't replicate "lost impacts" or that kind of thing. If you can provide more detail and methodology, we can perhaps figure out what is happening to you.

If it happens again I'll try and work out if there are any common aspects.

It has only been twice so far that I noticed.
