Was drifting down to ground and at about twice rooftop hight my parachute failed and i fell to my death. Do we now fall to our deaths if the chute gets hit? I didn't see any kill report so i don't think i was killed in my cute. Besides I was alive all the way down to the ground.

Anyone else had this happen?

First I've heard of it. Is it prevalent? What was below you?

Nothing I know of about hitting chutes. Did you get hit at all?

No reports of this from our para drops the otherday afaik.

Saw this happen over Verdun during last weeks para testing. Looked like one of the paras was hit by an lmg and when he died he lost his chute and fell. Everyone that saw it commented on how cool it looked. :-)

Seriously, I LMG'd the para. Anyway, it did look cool.

I think the bug the OP is referring to is theoccasional bug where you will be in a chute over some buildings (never had it happen to me while dropping over wilderness) and the chute will disappear and you fall to your death.

It is present on the live release but I swore someone reported it before.
