I can not switch to another video mode.

I selected my Nvidia GTS250 in videocard settings window.

Once ingame no other mode appears in the video options menu, only 800X600 X 32.

I have tryed the online game and offline in 1.32 and everything ok, bit no in 1.33.10.

CPU AMD 950 Quadcore

8GB RAM 1062 DDR2

Nvidia GTS250

Motherboard Asus M3N-HT Deluxe Mempipe

OS: Vista64

Never had problems like this with this game.

Any idea?

S!

I don't have exactly the same problem. What I can say is that as soon as the red progress bar in the load screen appears, the game switches into a resolution other than the one I choose (1920x1080). Fonts start to look ugly and fuzzy and the aspect ratio in the game world goes to hell, everything looks smaller and somehow distorted.

we talking live version or beta ?

in beta 1.33 yes i have this bug

under video/resolution i only have 1 option 1280X720X32

if i go into the settings.exe and set the resolution i get a full drop down menue

i can set it to 1920X1200X32and the setting carry over into the game.

hower once in the online beta under pref/video/res the box is empty with only 1280X768X32

in the drop down

Test 1

  • uninstall Battleground Europe TEST
  • delete all files from My Documents/Battleground Europe TEST
  • run installer
  • settings appears
    • in Chinese ??? (bug???)
    • select English

    [*]select 1680 x 1050 resolution

    [*]all resolutions available

    [*]launch game

    [*]goto preferences

[*]see all resolutions with correct one set

I dunno guys. What's different? I'm running GTX260 with latest 266.58 drivers.

that sometimes creates bad mojo as evolution of existing code overwriting old with new is ... umm ... can't always be debugged to prevent issues arrisin

it's inconvenient yeah, to reinstall newer versions after uninstalling older ones

however, it's the best way

It might be worth a try to uninstall the beta and deletes any my documents and do a fresh install.

I really don't think that will be it but you never can be sure.

The aspect ratio/font problem is solved for me with 1.33.0.12.

figgured my end out ,, not sure if theres a bug in there or not.

i run 2 gtx260s independent to 2 monitors and a TV.

1 260A to a primary monitor

1 260B to a seconday monitor and TV

if the card "B" with 2 outputs is selected under the prefrences/video/video card,

the resolution box and resolution dropdown menue is empty.

if i disable either the secondary monitor or the TV on the "B" card,

both cards "A"&"B" when selected give me a full resolution dropdown
