#5172 - 1.33.0.10 Various Sun Bugs

This one is not super easy to replicate but standing in certain places, looking at the sun at certain angles, the sun flare goes an odd color (which actually happens in the current live version) and the sun is replaced by a texture that says "BENZIN." (which does not happen in the current live game)

2nd, the size of the Sun changes depending on where you are looking. I'm not 100% sure if this is a bug or if it is trying to simulate the glare being worse from looking directly into the sun, but the glare dosen't really get worse, the sun effect just gets bigger:

What's this benzin picture? Has anyone else ever seen this?

Is this at a specific time of day?

Not really able to reproduce the issue. What card and driver are you running?

Gophur zoom on sun with iron rifle sights. The sun disappears.

Video card is 9800 gt. Drivers were 260.99

The pic was taken at the french depot spawn in area 51, so combined with the mini map and time of day on the pic its at least theoretically possible to try to reproduce this exactly. It only happened when I moved it into the top left corner of the screen. Like I mentioned I partially get this effect in the live game on two different computers, (with the sun glare dis colorization - it goes either purpleish or greenish) but the weird texture thing I am only getting in beta.

Reproduceable:

* Spawn at FRU

* Walk 10-20m away and turn back to FRU

* turn left/right until flag appears (might have something to do with the sun)

I am not sure by same problem, but i seen sommething similar on axis Ju52 for one frame.

I can't realy tell but that 1st pic, the benzin overlay looks alot like a texture map.......The uvmap output that you apply the textures too.

Yea it's the uvmap for the gas pump textures.
