Getting shot before EI shows up on visual

Is anything being done to fix this.

Many times I have been killed by an ei, before he shows up on my screeen.

My FPS at the times were above 30+.

If not, how can you compete with someone able to kill you, long before you see them?

Also dont have high hopes for 1.33. The new grid system, that might have or might have not helped the situation, most likely wont be in.
