Running in crouch mode doesn't lower first person view

1. Start running in standing mode.

2. While running press f to go to crouch.

Notice how your speed decreases but your view stays like you are standing-running.

When you stop running you will go into crouching.

I duno how it shows 3rd person.

Reported in beta. Got some wooly answers. Suggest you dig up that thread and read DOC's and Gophur's replies.

If you are already in crouch mode and you shift W to sprint, it seems like the avatar stands up first then sprints, which is new, and I guess realistic. However, sprinting from crouch mode is slower than sprinting from fully standing. If the avatar stands up fully anyway to sprint from crouch mode, why should it be any different in speed than if you are standing fully to start with? It makes for clunky play when you are in buildings and moving between windows.

Yep, noticed a difference too. I don't think I like it. One, it makes it harder to run through AB openings (bonked my head) and two, I don't like standing up and exposing my body when I think I'm crouching and moving. Believe it or not, I do try and stay out of sight somewhat.
