Seems to be back in 1.33, although it changed a bit from the former firebug. Over the last few days I noticed it 3 times:

1.: Enemy SMG opens fire and is killed while firing, his weapon continues the firing sound after his death animation and continues for 2-3 minutes, no tracers or hit effects.

2.: Same as above.

3.: 232 fires mg and the firing (tracers, hit effectsl) continue as it did in the classic firebug. Stops when 232 opens fire again later.

I get this almost consistently when a smg dies while firing...

Me too. Only for a few seconds though, not the 2-3 min as in oriiginal post.

The time seems to vary, sometimes it is just a few seconds, at other times longer than a minute. That is for the after-death firebug, the old one obviously goes on until the trigger is pulled again.

Yes, signed. Happens constantly to me.

The inf firing after death is a bug for sure, at least it seems to not do any harm other than be annoying.

2) 5 rounds == no bug. The AMG no longer fires in third person for single shots, only bursts. The reason for this is apparent when you hear the burpy cut off cacophony that was the third person single shot for this weapon.

I got some sound bug last night ,panzer engine sound bug, smg,lmg sound bug, and when you fight near air base town you lose some sound and sometime you dont hear you own gun and guys near you, the surround is bad too, was nice before.

I appear to be getting for it a long time, but i only see it when the ei dies, normally...

I've definitely seen the 'SMG keeps firing after death' bug. It was about 10 seconds if i recall, probably until the player despawned.

I have *not* seen it with a live player, or any unit besides the Axis SMG.

More than just a few rounds. The time varies a bit, but it is never less than 20 seconds of continuous fire for me.

1. length of time varies from a few seconds of continuous fire up to 20 seconds or more in a few cases.

I've gotten this as well, sometimes it's for about 5 to 10 seconds after he dies, other times it never quits till I spawn out. Not really often, but often enough to notice.
