Track IR question

Just got Track IR. It works pretty good, but I notice when flying sometimes I have to really krink my neck around to see behind me. Any tips to get it where I have to barely move my head to see everything? Settings? Etc. Any help would be awesome!

I wear a baseball hat with the reflective dot on the brim. This way there is more movement of the dot in relation to a small turn of my head.

You can also look at different positioning of the TrackIR unit. Sometimes a slight turn left or right of the unit will help.

I also suggest looking at what the TrackIR is actually seeing by going into the TrackIR program and looking at the real-time tracking display. If there are multiple objects it sees, such as a lamp behind you, it will cause problems.

I have the Track Clip Pro. I dont have any lights or anything behind me, so I dont know. The live tracking always seems to move nicely, but when I get it game it is off a bit. I find myself centering it all the time. Maybe I am sitting to low?

Tweaking the sliders for speed should help you as well. I've never had to do much to mine except for that. Don't be afraid to expand some of the various tabs under advanced settings to play with light filters and such either.

You can adjust this is the TrackIR settings. Make a profile where the yaw sensitivity goes up as you look to the side, that'll save your neck while still making it not super-sensitive looking straight foward.
