Laffy with crit placing FRU

srsly how can a LAFFY with no wheels place a FRU ??

had it 7+ times already that i shoot a driving laffy ... all his wheels gone. he stops. 15 secs later a FRU is up right in front of him

aint there a restriction that you cant place a FRU anymore when you get a crit on your truck ??

Had the same with opels.

Although not sure they lost all wheels which should equal a KIA (like tracking tanks both sides).

I think though as long as driver is alive in a truck you can still deploy fru.

My rule usually is 'if it doesnt burn it's still alive'.

I think that given what a truck setting up a FRU is supposed to *represent*, it shouldn't be able to set up with a crit.

I wonder if there is a timing issue, ie dropping the FRU then getting killed still gets you the FRU.
