if you mean the latest patch (after the earlier one today) it's a hot patch, it doesn't need to be downloaded, it autoruns when you login to play.

Cant download the hot patch. A squadie managed to get it downloaded and said it was only a fix for the falling through ground stuff, but the FRus are completly borked and unusable. Restart didn't fix them, either.

Same problem, Doc whats happening is the auto DL runs fine and installs fine. Then when you try to connect to the gameworld after restarting client, its directs you to yet another patch which it then fails to DL.

At least thats whats happening with me but it tells me the patch installed fine and completed. The problems in what happens after that.

After the first patch I was in the game world playing just fine, system comes on a says a hot patch had been added , I go out to patch and that's when I get the fail.

Ok just went and tried it and now it's working!!!

it's mainly due to the auth server deciding we don't need what's left of our hair

or our minds, or anything else we value that is removed from our grasp by severe stress

I think we fixed it

until we go to sleep, then it strikes again !

Now this is strange, thought I would post. Two PC's running W7-64bit, call them Reddog and Redpup and have a shared folder.

Reddog auto-updates to 1.33.1 and completes.

Redpup copies 1.33.1 from Reddog's MyDocuments\Battleground europe folder to Redpup's Desktop , run's patch.

Reddog relogs in to game and Playnet says patch avail and then can't download.

Redpup relogs in game Playnet finds 1.33.2 and downloads/installs and completes

Reddog scratches head, grabs and copies 1.33.2 from Redpup's MyDocument\Battleground europe folder to Reddog's desktop.

Reddog runs 1.33.2 patch updates complete relogs into game and all Good.

Not sure WTH but thought I'd post.

It's mostly 5,000 people grabbing it, failing, grabbing it again, failing, and trying yet again.

Gradually, loads stabilize and like magic, it works.
