Well It didn't help me. 2 ctd in 10 mins. Seems to happen most of the time when I change weapon systems, towns, and branches of service. This was the case also before the current ctd fix patch

Me too except more ram.

I am not showing any crash logs in the dbase for you which likely means that the game isn;t exiting but being forced to quit.

There's a conflict somewhere, possibly a driver issue.

I am running the latest Nvidia GTX drivers and my sound is SPDIF HD(think thats right, not at the house atm) running thru a USB plug to my Tritton 5.1 surround sound gameing headset. Window runs great and this is the only game that I have problems with. Runs great when I play off line practice mode.

2 gig RAM

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

I think even with our current reduced footprint 2GB on that OS is pushing things.

Before starting the game I go into the task manager and shut down useless crap. I check after I start game and I show approx 70 to 75% memory usage. I am planning to upgrade to 64 bit and more ram as soon as I can put the money together. So you are saying that everyone running 2 gig of memory should be having this same problem. I wasn't having this problem until the 1.3 patch and it seems to have gotten worse since the latest ctd fix patch.

We lowered the memory usage a lot with 1.33, as in 400MB worth. The combination of OS version, RAM, Video card and driver, Audio card and driver makes for a massive combination of factors which can go wrong. People with almost the same environment can get wildly different results. One of the benefits of OSX is a much smaller number of things can go wrong so I have far fewer issues to support, but for that you get a more closed environment.

You might try restarting your computer right before you play, that normally means a reasonable clear machine environment.

I usually start my computer, close the useless crap and start game. The first ctd is usually with in 5 to 10 mins of playing. The other nite I had 6 ctd's in first 1.5 hours. Last nite only had 2 or 3 all nite. Seems I suffer more when I'm flying than on the ground.

Got the access working but I can find no ctd's with your username.

Normally all ctd's that happen within the application get uploaded the next time you log in. Somehow the app is crashing without being caught by the ctd reporting code which is very odd. Anything odd happen when you get these ctd, like a message or something?

Go to google search and look for "windows video card driver crashes GTX 260" there are a ton of messages of people having similar problems

One click gets it all done and shutdown the useless processes

If the machine freezes it may not be able to write to a log file.

Might just look like someone pulled the plug.

Which we really should be logging anyway. :)

last night Rolly had 6 CDT's in a row that completely locked up his machine to the point he had to restart his computer, thursday, and friday night he had no problems. something that causes this kind of lock up could be damaging to a persons compter.
