had this happen last week to a few guy in the squad, and now this week again.

Flying East in line with Duss #3 factory at 5km looking through the DB7 bomb sight with settings 4,962m Speed 352kph. Plane at 5km and doing 352kph.

some ppl could see it, like i could, but others could not and reported cloud cover... after everyone got off for that night i went back and flew the same route and still was able to see tgt. i thought maybe they were mistaken and looking in the wrong area...

but tonight again flying the same route and setting as above i could not see the tgt and others in the same flight were able to. Reddog said he did another run on #4 later that night after rebooting and was then able to see the #3...

not sure if this has anything to do with the reboot and weather change or not as we are not sure if it was because of him rebooting was the fix.

Did the weather change?

Did everyone see the same weather?

I'll try and replicate this.

I've been doing some testing with buzzards following each other around the map at 5km and they seem to always be dead on.

Will keep trying.

rgr gopher

weird, what can we do to help out? maybe instead of using the buzzard use the DB7 with sight?

all i know if i have heard this from at least 4 people

ps. is there still no way to get the .float command in offline mode?

Not really except in closed test clients.

So it was only using the sight? The clods there are static but there are some up there.

Hmm...

Gonna have to think on this a bit. Don't think it would be the view angle. I'll have to ask Martini when he gets back but I have to be able to replicate it first.

Next time have them take some screenshots and also look out the window.

Screen resolution might be something to look at also.

dang about the .float :(

i understand that the clouds are static and they only change when it becomes overcast.

i know we did not have the wrong sight settings because we flew due East then turned back West and bombed the tgt just fine without changing anything.

im not sure it could be problems with resolutions because it happened to us we did not change out resolutions.

all i know is that there were 4+ bombers in a formation flying east at 5km and two of us did not see the tgt while the others did. then later i went back and flew the same route and saw the tgt

hopfully this weekend, if it happens again, we will get more information for ya

We've had the same thing happen during our squad nights. We log in and there's cloud cover. Night changes to clear, but those of us logged in continue to see low clouds. It's the guys comming in when we are commenting on the cloud cover who tell us there are no clouds. Meanwhile, I'm using them to "hide" from opposing ea lol.

Sure enough for all of us, a relog solves the issue.

Strange bug, but we thought you were aware of it, so noone reported it at the time.

Could it have been some of you saw overcast and some didn't?

I ask because the clouds themselves never change. Only the lower deck is there or not.

na, it cant be that because we were seeing the actual white cloud then it was clear past it. it wasnt overcast for any of us
