Well, I had some sound issues so I thought lets re-install the game.

I did it; now when I spwn in I have literally between 1 and 0 FPS... Can't do anything.

Even in offline mode I have 0 FPS. and the game takes a lot of time to actually load.

Not really sure what to do.

0? I wish you could see the task manager and see what is says during this time. I wonder if all 100% of the 4 cpus is busy or just 25% total. It sounds like something is consuming all the available cpu time.

and no, I was able to alt-tab and bring the manager on and I was around 30% with TS2 and internet on.

no it doesnt work, I've tried... I wonder if its not a Graphic Card driver thing

I'll re-install again tomorrow.

I would guess audio driver before graphic driver but it could be. XAudio creates threads to do its work and it's possible a driver bug is causing a near deadlock.

Test the GPU driver.

Make sure that in preferences you have best performance selected.

the game runs ok now, but I still have those sound issues...

when theres too much noise I wont hear myself reload/fire etc.

I think it may come from the fact that I dont have a real sound card...

before the last patch I was able to set the # of sounds to max in the in-game settings and I didnt had this problem.

im on "primary sound drivers", gonna try the other settings. now im on the middle one and it seems to be working better.
