30 second freezes

New thing in 1.33. Every hour or so, my computer will freeze (even alt-tab and ctrl-alt-del don't work) for up to 30 seconds. A frame will appear from time to time, maybe one each 5 seconds, then it will just as sudden go away. Does anyone else have this? It happened to me 5 times last 2 days.

That does sound like it's your system locking because I would think a break in internet connection for that long would cause a CTHL.

I'll watch the temp. It's a 850W OCed i7. Good point.

Try stock CPU settings, if ur oced and the CPU don't get enough voltage when all cores are under hvy load like this game does it will bluescreen yeah.

That's about where it should be.

Next time this is happening be sure to check the taskmanager and see if anything else is eating CPU. Things like virus scanners and bittorrent can easily cause these problems. So can intermittent network connections.

I'll investigate it further but right now it seems to be non-game related. As for virus scanners and porn, this is my wwiionline box, it's sole and only purpose is running wwiionline so there is nothing else installed and we don't use it to surf for porn either.

(Obviously it has also linux installed and it runs computations for me and my wife when we don't want to use the supercomputing center and clusters yet)
