#5364 - Can't Select Army Persona (Training Server)

I have just rejoined the game after some time away and went to the training server to test all my keys were the same.

It won't let me select the British or French army persona. I can select any other persona but not them.

I click on the select brigade button but nothing happens. As soon as I change to a different one it lets me in fine.

Any help?

i think this is a known issue, if it lets you into navy/airforce just go inyo that then right click town with a ground flag in and join the brigade that way

I'm not having any trouble selecting army personas.

When you get to the persona select screen what do you see?

Still got the same problem.

If I click on either the British or French army persona the character changes and as soon as I click on the Select Brigade button bottom right nothing happens. All are active duty.

If I then click on any other persona including German Army, it works fine. Just can't select British or French Army.

Works fine in campagn server just training has the problem.

Just got this message after not being able to get in using British & French Army but getting in using German Army.

This is on the map screen.

***Brigade Selection Refused: Invalid Brigade specified. You may need to restart your client if this problem persists and you are not able to select a brigade manually.

My computer has been off several times since this first happend and still won't let me in.

Spawned all infantry units in all countries and branches of service, on the training server, just now. Are you trying to spawn in a brigade that has no missions posted ? Really want to help but cannot see the issue you are having.

The clue might be "Invalid Brigade selected" ... since there is no such thing as an invalid brigade at the brigade selection screen, something has gone very wrong for you that I cannot replicate for me.

PS: Brigade selection assumes Persona selection is working because if Persona selection isn't working (title of thread and OP) then you cannot select a brigade at all. So you aren't having any problems with Persona selection ?

I don't get as far as the brigade screen on the British or French army persona, but I do if I select any other persona.

This is on the first screen with the different pictures of the personas when you click on them. If I select British navy persona and then select the "select brigade" button bottom right, every thing is fine. It takes me to the next screen with the map and I can select a brigade and start a mission.

On the first screen if I select British army persona and select the "select brigade" button bottom right, nothing happens. It doesn't take me to the next screen it just stays on the persona screen. Doesn't matter how many times I press it or how long I wait, it never changes to the next screen.

The error message appears on the map screen when I next select a persona that allows me to that screen.

Hmm...

So I went to the campaign and looked at the persona screen to see what brigades my guys were listed as being in (this feature can go away).

I noticed my Brit Army is 1st para 1st brigade and my French is 1st Army 1st Brigade (whatever the real names were).

When I went to the training server it said the same thing.

Logged Brit Army onto Training Server and switched to 3/3 and created a mission and spawned then exited the game.

Well that's all a dead end.

Even my plain old non CRS account can log in to Training. He is listed as not attached to any brigade. I'm at a loss here fellas.

Just checked mine and the French Army Persona is in the "British Navy Training" Brigade attachment.

Could that be the problem?

Ghopur, my 2nd acct seems to have this issue as well. Gotta be recient as my grandson has played the last few events on it.

German army shows "not attached" in bde attachment.

French army shows "brit training" in bde attachment.

For now the workaround is to select another persona in that same country and then go into a bde and use the "right click town, select brigade" to enter into the nonworking persona.

You can use my "opa" account to see whats going on if you like. Check french and germa army on it.

If needed I'll pm you the acct info.
