Happy BirthDay To ME, and To YOU Today...

if you are born May 1st..19xx - 2011

Why? The user control panel for these forums has this:

Date of Birth - Your date of birth and age are displayed in several places on the forum. Only the administrator will have access to your date of birth should you choose to hide it via the privacy option below.

Month Day Year (Optional)

I never filled it in and so I did not get an e-birthday card from CRS.

Do you think CRS is using this information to generate interest in the game? Maybe send an e-birthday card to all former registered players along with current members?

Should a business like CRS take advantage of the option ONLY if the user has filled it in?

Is there anyplace in the world that a user would fill it in but be opposed to recieving an e-birthday card?

Could this be that CRS is already doing this but I didnt get one because I just noticed too late today on my birthday to fill it in? waaah.. but as a business building tool or missing feature, what do you all think?

Umm... this belongs in OT not in "Testing and Bug Reporting"... unless, of course, if you are a Bug...

:D

P.S. Happy B-Day to you Maxxim!

It could be a bug, so find out if CRS sends out info based on this forum database... or if they dont.

I think its user error. I never filled in my birthdate, but was wondering if CRS even needed it or had a program to make use of the info.
