I stopped my IVG and when I went to turn the engine on it

wouldn't shift gears it just made a noise that sounded like being a pool and the black exhaust smoke that tells you if your Tank started would not stop coming out. I fiddeled with the breaks but the tank wouldn't kick into drive and was stuck in Neutral.

This is what is commonly referred to as the "stug bug." Altho other vehicles suffer from it from time to time, it affects the stug mostly and has been around forever. Nothing you can do but despawn and start over.

I sent a coder in to look at the simulation and he came out screaming. The simulation literally looks at manifold pressure, flywheel, compression... All things that can get a funny math error and never start. *sigh*

Sometimes simulation and realism are awesome. Sometimes they're just a coder going way too grognard for no real added value.
