Inf lean

Resubbed, asked to have this fixed 2 years ago, still not working right.

Please fix infantry lean so it works and doesn't randomly fail to work at times.

I use it extensively and have found that I could be in an open field with no model of any type near me and can recreate the problem.

I can understand you can't lean your head through a wall so at time, trying to peak through a window it may not work but it randomly stops working for no apparant reason anywhere anytime and for sometime no reason.

I mean honestly, why can't you fix something like this, what's wrong with your tema? I asked for this to be fixed 2 years ago maybe it was even 3 years ago and still today it's not done.

They can't figure out why it doesn't work, so they're taking it out.

They already took out the animation for it, by the way, so if you can get it to work right now, you are invisible to your target.

Some losers are very good at exploiting this.

Ya know, at first Romsburg, you rubbed me the wrong way and I wasn't a fan. But over the past 12 months, you have really grown on me. You're precise, well spoken and although you are sometimes a little harsh, you are most often correct and in proper context with your responses.

If you're going to argue with Romz, do your homework before you post. He gets it, and you can't teach common sense, you have to be born with it.

I can't say [any]thing else [than] that the ban was justified considering that you have an 'impressive' TOS history....

Well I had no idea of the invisibility, I hope you are not suggesting I was trying to exploit this.

I have been shot leaning so I wonder if that's even true.

You don't out an animation in the game and leave the ability to still perform the action if what you say is true. That's idiotic.

it was unintentional. They didn't get the animation in as part of the inf visual redo, and didn't realise it til after the patch cycle was complete.

Quite the awkward step backwards in fixing a problem that has existed for years.

My guess is the rats haven't died enough to this exploit to consider it a problem. I know i have

I think it's more a case of until they can fix it correctly and permanently their aren't gonna half-*** it.

Lean was poorly implemented and really broken. It wasn;t core wnough to the experience for us to spend the time fixing it at present. Along with decals for infantry, unique faces, and emotes, lean will be returned when it is correct.

Lean is a silly feature anyway. Gophur have you guys seen red orchestra 2's demonstration of their 1st person cover system? I'm guessing this games engine won't allow somethig like that, but it would be sick.:)

Gophur i think you may have skimmed a few posts and missed this.....

Lean DOES work right now, as well as ever anyway. The problem is that the lean animation doesn't work for the 3rd person hence can be, and frequently is, exploited. ie stand behind a corner and lean around it and the enemy won't be able to see you.
