Something must be terribly wrong with downloading this game now. I tried to downlad it on a new pc and thereafter on an older and both crashed and was non recoverable.

I just down loaded the game last night and had no problems. post the specs of your computer.

The specs are: i7 3,4GHz prosesor 8 GB ram radeon HD 6970 2 GB. When i downloaded game it changed things in my bios so the pc crashes fast and i cant get a proper picture on the screen. This according to the serviceman. He says he must flash my bios. I have also windows 7 home premium but the other pc with same problem runs xp. luckely i have a pc wih the game running that i installed a while ago and its no problem.

Downloading a file should never be able to cause a computer to reboot. I'd say it is impossible but I don't believe in that.

I retract the previous statement.

"When i downloaded game it changed things in my bios"

That is impossible.

Even running the installer after you downloaded it could not affect the BIOS. It does write some registry entires but those can be uninstalled.

It does sound like your crashes may be related to bad bios settings but I doubt that you need to flash it.

I hate to give advise on this without knowing what motherboard you have. Messing around in the BIOS can cause harm and you should not do so if you are not comfortable.

But there is almost always an option to turn on "fail-safe defaults" in the bios and that is easy enough to do.

Maybe i did catch a virus when i downloaded.

You did not catch a virus from CRS. You could have already had a virus on your computer.

The fact that is is new actually increases the chance it has a virus. Once something at the factory has a virus it is very likely to be uploaded to EVERY computer they send out. The factory is NOT security central.

Run a virus check.

Interesting.

Which Anti-Virus software do you run?

(It is possible that the install-file was flagged as suspious by one of the anti-virus companies - happens all the time - but that they have since reclassified the file as OK)

I got norton antivirus.

There is your problem...

Uninstall it and use Windows 7 own antivirus.

Norton is (%¤()

My suggestions should be used at your own risk. BUT I do this a LOT.

Anti-Virus:

Microsoft Security Essentials Free

http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx

Malware:

MalwareBytes

http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=5756

Uninstall Nortons using the programs option in the Control Panel. Do this after installing MSE above.

Then install and run Malware Bytes from above.

If you can;t download, install or run either of the above programs you have a nasty virus and need to seek help from someone knowledgeable.

If you have issues, post here and I'll send you my email address and we can work through it.
