How to end the blame to CRS for the Ballistic Model once & for all

As everyone knows Rats get blame daily on the game & on the forums about the damage models and the ballistics system this happens mainly because the player does not understand why the enemy tank keep shooting after they made multiple hits in different locations and the enemy does one and he goes boom!

If players knew post sortie that energy was not enough to penetrate or pass through the tank and made no kills etc... the player discredit of the game would decrease dramatically.

So in the website/forums a few months ago I learn that the calculations of the ballistics are made client side which means I think the information and calculations are done on my pc so...

I was wondering if it possible in the end of a sortie of a vehicle to show for example the last 30 hits on my vehicle and the last 30 hits I made on enemy vehicles?

I have hopes that this could be possible since has seen on the movie about the ballistic system there seems to be a way of turning on the damage model view and retrieve the ballistic calculations.

Not only would this be welcome by all players in my opinion but would also make easier to track bugs and offer straight away the information necessary to nail the bug.

While cool, I seriously doubt it would be interesting to anyone except a few.

And the cries of nerf would rise even higher, when someone goes through the log and demands explanation of why 53443KJ was enough to spall tempered steel at 47 degrees.

I don;t think that level of information would be good but things like having a bigger spark effect when you fail to penetrate would.

I also think some better killed by information would be useful.

The return of the "despawn spin" (but with all enemy units removed) combined with an accurate decals system could help with a lot of explaining.

I would rather have both but one of those seems that would reduce fps and take more work hours and would not discriminate what is visual latency from a real bug , I have seen in 1.33 EA Hover near a building climb like a helicopter and avoid the building :)

Currently CRS say they have an amazing ballistic system and we must trust that all 100+ weapons are model and programmed correctly , we simply can't confirm this, for those hardcore players that report bugs, are loyal subscribers, play the game for hours & who like to learn the game in order to get better this system still remains a black hole.

But while on the topic when inside the tank I need the info on the chat when a round penetrates the tank, disable my main gun, my lmg and so on...

If its client side, then it can be edited and "hacked" right?

Not sure maybe but its not only client side its passes through the server, the server probably makes some checks which have to be according to the data he has and the data he is getting from other clients.

But if anyone hacked, through this system you would know.

Probably couldn't go that far with it. Might be able to get something though that relates how you dies a bit better.
