Virton-Arlon Depot

Respawned in Virton-Arlon Depot and instead placed me in AB.

I had to redo mission and then it worked but before that tried twice to respawn n depot and it placed me in AB.

I don't think this should work this way, let me know.

You mean you de spawned, then you ended back at the AB? This is normal behavior if the AB spawn point is closer than the CP spawn point from where you are.

Basically, where ever you are (i.e. your avatar) in proximity to some spawn point. So, if closer to AB, you will go to AB, not the SP.

Well I was in the depot Delems, not even outside it. If I recall actually I think I was in the garage portion...regardless, it shouldn't warp you elsewhere right?

Depot was close to AB but the fact it warped me out of depot I respawned at, to AB can't be correct.

My mission was in depot, so despawn and respawn should be in same depot just like anywhere else.

This has happened to me a few times. It just depends on where the 'point' is for the CP spawn point and the AB spawn point. There are occasions where you can be in a CP but still de spawn to a different SP than you started (or AB).

There aren't a lot of those places and it is unnerving when it happens.

If you were in the garage of the SP, then that does seem strange, as one would think you must be closer to the SP spawn point than AB spawn point. Maybe I'll go to Virton and see the SP myself. Anyways, I don't think it is a bug.

I went to the Vitron CP that is next to the AB and checked it, by golly, you do spawn back to the AB even if in the SP itself!

However, if you just move NE a few meters from the CP you will de spawn back to the original SP. So, it seems the AB spawn point overrides another spawn point if very close.

Still don't think it is a bug, (though, if the AB is not supposed to override the closer SP then I suppose it might be a little bug), but it is weird that even in the SP you spawn to the AB. I doubt there are very many like that on the whole map.

It's really no big deal but at the time it could mean a critical spawn in was stopped. All the same I figured i'd post it.

There is no Virton-Arlon depot but I think you mean Virton-Orval.

When you despawn it looks for the closest facility marker (gun for AB, sign for Depot, etc). The gun in this case is really close but the sign should be closer.

I was unable to replicate.
